Hon’ble Ms. Justice Harpreet Kaur Jeewan

Justice Harpreet Kaur Jeewan was born on June 4, 1966, she did B.SC(Med) from Govt. College for Girls, Chandigarh and Bachelor of Education from Govt. College of Education, Chandigarh. She did Bachelor in Law from the Panjab University, Chandigarh and while pursuing her LLM, she joined as PCS (Judicial) in April, 1991. After promoted as District & Sessions Judge, she also remained posted as Presiding Officer, Punjab State Appellate Tribunal & Punjab State Food Appellate Tribunal, Chandigarh, as Director, Judicial Academy, Chandigarh and as, Member Secretary of Punjab Legal Services Authority. She had also been working as Mediator, being a trained mediator and also remained associated with the Juvenile Justice Committee of the Hon’ble High Court of Punjab and Haryana. While being posted as District and Sessions Judge, Rupnagar, she was elevated as the Additional Judge of Punjab and Haryana High Court Chandigarh on November 2nd 2022 and became Permanent Judge of this Court on March 12, 2024.
